Charles Lorway, QC
Mr. Lorway has been in practice for 32 years. His main areas of interest are Property Law, Wills and Estate Planning, Probate of Estates, Commercial Law and Family Law. He has successfully pleaded cases in these and other matters in Provincial Court, the Supreme Court of Nova Scotia - Family Division, the Supreme Court of Nova Scotia - Trial Division, the Supreme Court of Nova Scotia - Appeal Division, and the Federal Court of Canada. Mr. Lorway received his Q.C. in 1987. He has been active in the affairs of the Nova Scotia Barristers Society and in various community organizations during his professional life. He is a member of the Nova Scotia Barristers Society, the Cape Breton Barristers Society and the Canadian Bar Society.

Ms. MacKenzie received her L.L.B. from Dalhousie University in 1999 and her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University College of Cape Breton in 1996. She has been a member of the Nova Scotia Barristers Society since June 16, 2000. Ms. MacKenzie is a member of the Nova Scotia Barristers Society and the Cape Breton Barristers Society. She is also on the Board of Directors of the Society for the Treatment of Autism (Nova Scotia).
